The enterprise payments integration starts with SAP Cloud ERP, with customer proof-of-value programs planned over the coming months.

Circle and SAP-backed payments company Tereina announced an October 7 partnership to integrate USDC and EURC into enterprise payment workflows, starting with SAP Cloud ERP. Eligible businesses will access the stablecoins through SAP Pay, rather than moving the payment into a separate application.
Circle says USDC will be the preferred stablecoin for eligible dollar-denominated payments, with EURC available for euro-denominated activity. Its original announcement on X also identifies Arc as the preferred blockchain for the partnership's initial workflows. Preferred does not mean every SAP Pay payment must use that network.
The partnership follows SAP's October 6 introduction of SAP Pay, powered by Tereina. SAP says the service executes and reconciles payments inside Cloud ERP when an invoice becomes due. That brings the payment and its business record into the same workflow, reducing the need for finance teams to handle files or manage a separate processing step.

The stablecoin announcement adds another settlement option to that enterprise setting. It is directed at eligible businesses; the companies have not said that every SAP customer is participating or that all existing payment activity will shift to stablecoins.
Circle and Tereina plan joint customer proof-of-value programs over the coming months. They will also train treasury and payments specialists and work with ecosystem partners on enterprise implementations. The announcement describes a path for adoption, without naming initial participating customers, reporting completed transaction volumes or setting a date for finishing the trials.
Crypto.news independently reported the integration and its limits. Its account distinguishes Arc's preferred route from the broader choice of payment methods businesses retain. That distinction matters for companies that want blockchain settlement for a particular workflow while continuing to use other payment arrangements elsewhere.
The infrastructure development is the connection between Circle's dollar and euro stablecoins and Tereina's embedded payments service. SAP's launch explains where that service sits in corporate operations; Circle's agreement explains the new stablecoin options. Customer trials and measured implementation results will determine how widely those options are used.
