Eurøpe Consortium launches to expand the use of euro stablecoins
Eleven organisations will coordinate around Schuman’s existing EURØP token. Member participation does not guarantee a new listing or integration.

Schuman Financial and ten other digital-finance organisations launched the Eurøpe Consortium on Monday to expand the use of euro-denominated stablecoins. Its first programme centres on EURØP, an existing token, with members planning to coordinate distribution, infrastructure and practical applications.
The October 5 announcement brings together Schuman Financial, Assetera, BLOX, Coinhouse, Coinmerce, DFNS, eToro, LCX, RockawayX, SwissBorg and XRPL Commons. The group combines an issuer with trading platforms, wallet infrastructure, tokenised-market businesses and blockchain organisations.
The consortium’s website says each member retains responsibility for its own commercial, technical and regulatory decisions. Participation does not itself establish a particular listing, integration or liquidity commitment. An announced member therefore cannot be treated as a confirmed new place to buy or use EURØP.

DFNS supplied a concrete infrastructure update Monday: it said EURØP is supported on its platform and confirmed its role as a founding participant. Its announcement describes a continuation of work with Schuman Financial that began in July around issuance and distribution.
The member says EURØP is a euro-denominated electronic-money token under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework. It describes Schuman Financial as an electronic-money institution authorised by France’s ACPR and identifies custody and wallet infrastructure as its own contribution to the group.
Schuman’s release lists EURØP as available across Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Solana, the XRP Ledger and Plasma. The consortium is coordinating around that circulating asset while seeking broader connections to wallets, trading platforms and payment uses.
Independent reporting from Stablecoin Insider characterises the announcement as a distribution effort around an already-issued euro stablecoin. Its account points readers toward the individual participants’ follow-through, because the coalition announcement does not guarantee every member will provide the same services.
The next developments to watch are specific integrations and commercial arrangements announced by those organisations. Monday establishes the coalition and its initial programme; assessing its effect on euro payments or settlement will require evidence of the products participants actually deliver.
