Haider Rafique is stepping back from his role at OKX after almost seven years, the exchange’s global managing partner and marketing chief said Friday. He said he plans to take a break and focus on his family and personal priorities.
Rafique announced the decision on X, thanking founder Star Xu and his colleagues for their work building the company’s brand. He did not give an exact departure date or say what he would do next.
Xu confirmed the departure in a separate post minutes later. He traced Rafique’s career from marketing at OKCoin to global chief marketing officer at OKX and thanked him for his contributions.
